Henry Nabholz

Henry Artemas ("Bob") Nabholz passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 86. He was born January 1, 1939 in New York City. He is survived by his dear wife of 65 years, Eleanor Marie Ferrarini Nabholz. Henry and Eleanor were inseparable. Baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses in 1962, they began a shared, lifelong career as Bible teachers that initially carried them from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina. Instrumental in establishing congregations in Boone, Jefferson, and Newland, NC, they traveled almost 1,000 miles weekly in their Volkswagen Beetle, placing Bible-based publications and conducting personal Bible studies with interested persons. In 1974 they graduated from the 56th Class of the Watchtower Bible School of Gilead and were assigned to Bolivia. As missionaries for eight years they learned Spanish, which they used on their return to the USA to help establish many Spanish-speaking congregations, especially in the Charlotte area. Bob's ministry eventually encompassed over 30 languages, maintaining a supply of publications serving immigrants from many parts of the world. Over years of faithful service, they helped more than 50 individuals come to know Jehovah and dedicate their lives to Him. All who loved Bob long to meet him again in fulfillment of the scriptural hope he preached from Revelation 21:4, in which "...death will be no more."  

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 6 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 3630 Hubbard Road, Charlotte, NC.
