Jeana L Jones

Jeana L Jones 52, Kannapolis formerly Gibsonton,Fla. died Tues. June 15, 2021.

Born October 4, 1968, in Tampa,Fla.,daughter of the late Joanell Barco and Irvin Barco.

She was a long time resident of Gibsonton, Fla. where she met her husband of 36 years Denny in Sept. of 1985.

Jeana worked as a sales associate at Walmart in Marion, Oh for four years until she and her family relocated to Kannapolis, NC where she was a stay at home wife/mother.

She was a fan of sugar skulls, collecting Coca Cola stuff and she had collection of dolls, she enjoyed cooking for her family especially around super bowl when her family would yell for her hot wings.The most important of all to Jeana was her family.Her three grandkids were the light of her and her husband Denny's life.

She will be dearly missed by her three children Cassandra Ward, Anthony Ward, and Joshua Ward, two extended children Brittney Lee and Lauren Montgomery, her three grandchildren Jayden Ward, Braylen Clegg, and Mila Ward, Sister Melissa Ward, two brother in laws Tracy Jones and Craig(Crystal)Jones, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Including her parents,Jeana was preceded in death by her husband Denny Jones, her grandparents Milton Hoyt and Betty Jean Hoyt, her brother Joseph Ward, and Mother in law Yvonne Jones.

Her family will be holding a celebration of life Saturday June 19, 2021 from 10am to 2pm at Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, NC
