Mark Hood Obituary

Mark James Hood, passed away on June 23, 2026 peacefully at the hospice house in Kannapolis, NC. He leaves his loving mother behind, Anna Hood of Painted Post, NY, multiple brothers and sisters, baby sister Jody Phillips and brother in law Robert Phillips of West Springfield, MA and his niece Jessica Phillips, Nephews Jonathan and Jason Phillips. He was a diehard Boston Sports Fan especially the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He had a love for the Lord, Jesus and enjoyed attending service at First Baptist Church of Kannapolis with his church family. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dana Farber - Jimmy Fund or First Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC.
