Shawn Christopher Marino

Shawn was taken to rest in peace in his Spiritual home with our Lord Jesus Christ on 09/16/2023. He was hospitalized for Respiratory Failure difficulty breathing with a high content of carbon dioxide in his lungs. He also had other multiple medical problems. Celebrate with me the life of a fantastic, intelligent, wonderful son, inside and out which any mother would be proud to call her own.Loved to make people laugh, always thinking of others and had a special gift with Down Syndrome and Developmentally Challenged adults and  children. He had a Variety of jobs from age 14 from grocery stores, fast food, and security guard to the most recent and his Favorite as a Correction Officer at Piedmont Correction prison. He was preceded in death by his father David Marino Sr. both sets of grandparents:  Irene and Pete Kostow, Antoinette and Thomas 

Marino Sr, 4 Uncles Thomas Jr,Micheal, James Marino and William Wakefield. An aunt Marlene (Thomas Jr.) and cousin Gayle Wakefield. He leaves behind his mother 

Maarilyn Marino, brother David Marino Jr, aunt Patti Clark, cousins Pamela and Crystal Miller, aunt Diane and Terry McCabe. aunt Mary Wakefield, cousins George and Cathy, Jeff and Ann and Irene Wakefield, cousins Thomas Marino///, Mark and Jodi (Marino) Walters. Aunt Patty Marino (Michael). Aunt Marietta (James) and cousins Jimmy and Annette Marino. Uncle Lou and aunt Geri, cousins Louie, Tony and Bobby Marino. I will Always have him in my heart and prayers with love and will miss him tremendously as will the rest of the family.
